Well, it’s the secret to making meals that are not boring. These black bean burgers are loaded with the goodness of black beans. Paired with aromatic spices and veggies, these are perfect for a veggie packed meal. And the pickled onions is the cherry on top. Absolutely delicious!
Black Bean Burger Recipe
Make black bean patties – Just combine together black beans, onions, bell peppers, garlic, spices, breadcrumbs and oregano. Season with salt and pepper. Make sure all the veggies are finely chopped. You will also need to squeeze out the juice from onions. Before shaping the burger patties, gently mash them to get a coarse mixture. The shaped patties are then cooked.Assemble the burgers – You can totally customize these burgers with your favorite toppings. I have added mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes and pickled onions.
