Crunchy cucumbers, tangy tomatoes, slightly sweet red onions, spicy green chilies, and zesty and slightly peppery coriander (cilantro) leaves make the base of this green salad. Depending on your taste preferences, feel free to add more or less green chilies. Again, you can deseed them to reduce the heat. In order to achieve the authentic taste, it’s important to add more flavor with aromatic ground spices. A good pinch of ground cumin and a sprinkle of red chili powder play a crucial role in elevating this simple kachumber to the next level. The earthy nutty flavor of cumin powder and the heat from red chili powder makes it so good. With the amazing line up of distinct flavors in this recipe, all you need now is a touch of lemon juice, and a simple seasoning of salt and pepper. Oh so delicious!
