All you need are a few sheets of puff pastry to create these incredible pastries. And the toppings? Your imagination is your limit. Flaked almonds, chopped nuts, dried fruits – all make the perfect addition. And oh, after baking, you can drizzle it with your favorite chocolate or caramel sauce, toss in cinnamon sugar, or even top with some berries for the color. To make these khari biscuits, first, prepare your puff pastry. If you are not using ready rolled pastry sheets, roll them out with a light sprinkle of flour. I like to cut each sheet into 9 rectangles. That said, you can cut them anyway you like – squares, rectangles, circles, stars etc.You will also need to decide the number of layers you want. Just brush the layers with melted butter so they will stick together effortlessly. I have used flaked almonds as my topping in this puff pastry biscuits recipe. Feel free to experiment with your favorite toppings. And finally, arrange them on a baking sheet and bake until flaky golden. Don’t forget to put the kettle on!
