You can let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to soften, but we often don’t have the time for this. Here’s a trick: simply microwave it for 5 seconds. Just don’t do it any longer because you don’t want the cream cheese to melt! Blend and serve immediately. Some pumpkin dip recipes require refrigeration but why wait?
