These toast roll ups remind me of the real potential of a loaf of bread beyond regular toasts and puddings. When fried, these roll ups hold their shape really well, and the crunchy-chewy texture is simply amazing. These roll ups are called bread rolls in Kerala. Toasts with savory filling rolled to form little cylinders. I guess that makes sense. The original classic filling is made up of few veggies and plenty of spices. But, given the fact that I wanted to make a simplified version of the filling, I decided to branch out and flavor the vegetables with stock cubes. And this one ingredient makes this snack stand out.
