In this shakshuka pizza recipe, we’ll be using this sauce instead of pizza sauce to add that extra special touch.To make this pizza, start with the pizza base. I really love the homemade version of pizza base but feel free to use the store bought bases when you’re short on time.Shakshuka sauce is a basic mixture made with tomatoes, garlic and onions. Cook this mixture until the tomatoes are mushy and it resembles pizza sauce.The pizza base is cooked separately for about 10 minutes before you add the toppings. Top the base with shakshuka sauce and eggs, and then cook for another 10 minutes. When the egg whites are set, you can remove the pizza from oven, and top it with crumbled feta and lots of parsley.Addictingly delicious shakshuka pizza for your weekend brunch!
