The flavors of this dish relies on the classic Tex-Mex fajita seasoning, an aromatic blend of spices that’s easily available and quick to make. This seasoning tends to work well with any protein or veggies you like, but creates a unique combination with steak. While the tender steak tastes amazing with the seasoning, the tricolored bell peppers (capsicum) add a pop of color throughout the dish.
Steak Fajita Seasoning

In both versions of the recipe, you can use the same marinade. Apart from the basic marinade consisting of ground cumin, paprika, red chili powder, cayenne pepper, oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder, I highly recommend adding a generous splash of fresh orange juice.
