Craving more sugar free desserts? Try my sugar free fudge, sugar free marshmallows, and sugar free pudding next. I love chocolate, well, anything. And when I’m going low carb, my sugar free hot cocoa mix is a lifesaver.  For starters, it doesn’t taste like anything is missing because nothing is. It has the same warming flavor and creamy texture, but with a few low carb swaps, it would put Swiss Miss hot cocoa mix to shame!

Why I love this recipe

Made with 4 ingredients. Unlike the store-bought variety, mine has no sucralose, artificial flavors, or acesulfame potassium–whatever that is… Easy to make in batches. Once you learn the ratio of ingredients, you can make as much or as little hot cocoa mix as you need.  Customizable. Customize any of the 4 ingredients, or add your spin on it. Diet-friendly. Along with being keto friendly, it’s also easy to make dairy-free!

Ingredients needed

Cocoa powder. I used Dutch-processed cocoa powder, which has a softer, milder flavor. Use dark cocoa powder if you prefer a bitter, dark chocolate flavor.  Granulated sweetener. I use monk fruit extract or allulose, but use whatever sugar-free sweetener you prefer. Sea salt. To amplify the other ingredients.  Powdered creamer. Use either powdered milk or powdered creamer. To keep it vegan, use powdered coconut milk.

Arman’s recipe tips
