Coffee lovers adore the old fashioned affogato featuring a combination of espresso and ice cream. Though food trends have moved from classics in favor of easy recipes with minimal ingredients in more recent years, I think the traditional favorites still get a special spot in modern makeovers. Here’s a great way to transform the simple affogato to a luxurious dessert. Tiramisu affogato. It’s all about incorporating the delicious flavors of classic tiramisu into an affogato. Honestly, the undeniably delectable combo steals the show in this recipe. The focal point is coffee with ice cream and mascarpone. It literally reflects the decadent idea of bringing in double deliciousness to your sweet cravings.

Tiramisu Affogato Recipe 

Mascarpone mixture – The classic mascarpone filling alongside ladyfinger cookies is the backbone of tiramisu. To make the mascarpone mixture, all you need to do is combine together mascarpone, fresh cream and powdered (icing) sugar.  Assemble affogato – Apart from mascarpone mixture, you will need vanilla ice cream, espresso and ladyfinger cookies. Add the bottom layer of mascarpone to a serving glass followed by vanilla ice cream. Pour in espresso and place one or two ladyfinger cookies on the side.
